Say guys:

Is there anything different buying stock air filters and Comptech air filters at all?

Thanks,

The Comptech filter is washable and re-usable.

Yes, the filter element is different.

Stock filters are paper.

Comptech drop-in filters are oiled foam. You can clean and reuse the Comptech.

The research on any potential gains from the various types of air filters is questionable at best.
