question about aftermarket navigation

okay if you were to buy a aftermarket naviagation system. what brand and why? (I'm looking for quality, good directions/where i'm going) plus if it played DVDs that would be sweet but it doesn't have to.

Alpine. They apparently make some the best aftermarket navigation systems. Pioneer is more affordable though, but don't know about their navigation. The Pioneer is able to play DVDs and do Navi with less stuff necessary as compared to the Alpine which you would need atleast 3 total devices: the monitor, the navi, and the dvd player. The Pioneer has a model that contains everything you need for navi and watching DVD.
