I'm thinking of trying the DIY of one of those $15 dual shock sensors that is posted with instructions versus getting a Viper alarm profesionally installed for $300.

My question is, when they install aftermarket alarms for the CL, does that mean they have to disable the factory alarm (horn and lights), rendering it useless?
