The auto should be close to the CL-S if not quicker by a tenth of a second or so. Its a great car.

BWM data has it down at 7 sec for auto and 6.4 sec for manual. This info I saw in a BWM manual that the sales people use for specifications.

Ok the whole claim on this car is 6.1 manual and 6.7 auto. then I have seen the xi at 5.8 manual. ALL That has to be fucking bullshit.

My ex-girlfriend has a 330xi auto, and I was driving it pretty hard and there is no way it could break 7 to 60mph.
As for the manual verison, I have driven one but i'm not the best stick driver, my friend who owns the car is. He does races and shit with it. Well there is no way it takes off any quicker than the CLS. I have been in both and felt them and a 330i manual vs. stock CLS would prob be even to 60mph maybe the CLS would win by 5 feet which is like .2 secs. If you go to a 100mph though, the CLS will kill it.

The problem with the BMW's is that there are so many damn options. If you are talking about the 330CI than it has the sports package and everything, so it is the quickest of the 3-series (excluding the M3) with a manual. I have seen 0-60 times of 6.1 in most magazines and online for the manual. Now the 330xi sedan, in manual supposedly gets to 60 in 5.9. This is with the sports package and the all wheel drive. So the CLS can take anything less than a 330 easily (323 and 325). The times for the 330Ci and 330xi sedan with an automatic trans are comparable if not worse than the CLS. And the 3-series with the sports package definitely have better and tighter handling than our cars do.

Have fun . . .
