I know at least 2-3 of the forum members who went through 2 or more transmission failures have dealt with Acura of North America and worked something out with them that led to either being bought out of their car or being put in a 6speed instead.

I don't know which forum members though.

I think they had to pay a pretty significant difference to get into a 6 speed.
