Ok, I'm coming home last night at about 9-9:30 heading south on 29 (state highway). There's a few cars behind me and nobody ahead of me when this blue 92-93' mustang GT comes up on me from out of the blue. Pulls right next to me with his loud exhaust(we're doing about 70 mind you) and acts as if I want to race? I'm like WTF is this guy on? I can understand if it was a v6 mustang but a v8? Was he just out looking for dumb easy kills or something? My CL does not look any special other than stock right now and this young buck pulls up next to me? I was a little more than confused but, I made up my mind to see how far I could go to belittle this kid. He's still trying to get me to race, when I decide to take the money outta my wallet and show it to him as if I'll race him for money. This confused the hell outta him. Eventually he just took off (back-firing a couple times as he speed off) and that was the end of it.

I'm not sure what the point of this was since nothing really happened. He would have just blown me away anyway. I just wanted to see how confindent he was in his car, since he seemed to be out playing.

Now if I had been on my bike, this would have been a slightly different story.

Just though I'd share that with everyone.

As much as I hate to admit it, I lost by 1/2 car to one last weekend. Had him off the line to 60, but he pulled ahead up to about 90 before we shut down. He had modded exhaust at a min, I'm stock. I was w/ my girl so my ego hurt a little

But if you race a Fox body, you NEVER know what they're packin. Could just be a set of flowmasters welded in, or it could be a 351 stroked to 408ci w/ a pair of T76 turbos. There's alot of 9 second street driven older stangs out there. Obviously this guy didn't have much or he would've accepted the challenge.

my friend has a polished turd that should go hi 11's and it's a vert and clean as hell looking...almost looks stock except the 275/45/17 DR's

I've raced a Cobra and a GT. The Cobra took my ass, but the GT was a different story. GT can be a pretty easy kill, especially since the one I raced was stock.
