Getting my complete 105k service done withing the next week. I have ordered and received all the parts I need including new valve cover gaskets and tube seals. I am finally going to have the Option pulley in my signature I purchased last summer installed. I bought the gates belts it. I have some extra cash and was thinking of doing the AEM p/s and alt pulleys as well. The AEM pulleys I'm looking at have belts included. Anyone have an Option pulley with AEM accessory pulleys installed? What belts should I use if I decide to go this route? I read that the AEM pulleys do that much, its more for looks.

 

yeah im woundering if you can use the belt with the stock pulley on the option pulley

 

Save your $ Don;t waste your time with the AEM stuff. No measurable power difference, & just a PITA to install & Un-install. I've been there.

For the belts you have to use new belts with the new smaller pulley. Because now your stock belts are to big.

Thanks for the reply. I'm gonna take your word on this one and pass on the AEM stuff. Monday an Acura mechanic is doing my 105k service for me and I'm having him install the option pulley.

Gates K040425
Gates K060441

I got them from amazon for $26.69 shipped.

 

I just purchased an option racing pulley along with belts. Hopefully next week I can install it. I just have to get the crank pulley tool.
