Those first gen lightnings were great in their day, but I think new they were like 15.5 in the 1320. They had a mildly massaged 351 V8. Modded they could be quick. I'd still like to get one, there just aren't that many nice ones still around.

well back on topic, good kill. my friend got an 02 lightning and he shit on me by like 2 car lengths to 70, very upsetting. i know i was gonna lose but its all fun...plus i missed 3rd gear

 

I haven't heard that one, but since the new GTO is coming out, I would be stoked if they did a Buick version. Afterall, the Buick motto is "Going Fast With Class". And it seems GM is putting some money out to advertise the current GS.

I love my GS, I just wish it was RWD!! Too much torque for the front wheels. I'm stock, and probably will stay that way for a while. My fav things about it are the price and the size. I got a ridiculous steal, I mean deal. Brand new in 2000 for $20.8K. I just couldn't pass it up. I'm 6'2" and I don't put the front seat all the way back.
