Prospective CL owner, with a tight budget.
Hey guys, I'm new to the forum. I'm in the market for a new car and I have recently fell in love with the second gen CL's. Unfortunately, I must keep my budget at about $12k. I don't care if the car is a type-s, or if its got navi. Should I expect to find a worthwhile 2nd gen, on my budget? Or should I start looking at accords
well, there really are no Cl's at 12K (unless you go first gen)
I probably paid the least for mine of anyone on here...12,900 +tax (but mine had ~135K on the odometer at purchase)
Good luck

Welcome to the forum !!
Like Jared said, it's going to be tough to find a 2nd gen CL for that type of money. Take a look on autotrader for CL's in your area to get a feel for what they are going for.
There's nothing wrong with the Accord coupe IMHO. I was pretty close to closing a deal on a 2002 leftover Accord EX V6, but decided to buy a CL instead.

If you DO find a CL at 12k, it will probably have high mileage, if its near 100000miles or over, your taking a big chance and the possiblty is there, you WILL have to spend the $$$$ one way or the other to repair it, bill could be anywhere from $800-$4000.
You should find some @ around 15K
