Projected Life For Limited Slip

i know that on my previous car a jeep the stock Limited slip in the rear diff wore out after a few years and didnt hold as good as it did new. anyone have any idea how long 6 speed owners can expect ours to stay tight for? how long do they usually last in fwd applications?

The CL 6-speed uses a helical gear type of LSD. The Jeep likely used a cone type with friction material that eventually wore off. The gear type doesn't have any friction material to wear off and so should be good for the life of the car.
