Installed the new 2.11c DVD last week. Everything appeared to install fine. A couple of days later, while using the Navi, I got tired of listening to the weightlifter lady tell me to "go straight" one too many times (this was on a long stretch of freeway prior to the destination), I hit the SETUP button and then the OFF button. Clock reappears ... fine.

But then, about five minutes later, PIECES of the map display start showing up on the screen along with the clock. For example the bottom strip was displayed along with the map graphic (with turning directions) shows up on the left. Hit SETUP again, then OFF, and the whole map shows up. Once again, SETUP, OFF, and finally back to the clock .... for about 5 minutes. Then pieces again.

Called the DVD people and got nothing but voice prompts. Got the 800# to Acura Customer "Don't" Care and they were stumped and said to get an appointment with the dealer. Dealer says they want $120 PER HOUR to diagnose the unit. I said Hell I have had the disk only 2 weeks ... seems the old DVD lasted almost 4 years and 80,000 miles and now you think the unit has gone bad. That's BS. Dealer relented a bit and said he would drive it around to see if they could recreate it and I asked "then what?" No answer to that one.

Appt set for March 30 ... along with PCM install.

I'm pissed.
