Probably Stupid Question But.....
does putting headers on our cars make them like those hondas i see driving around sounding like a bee? i hate that sound. I want headers but if it makes my car sound like those riced out cars forget it.

No, they wont Paul. I got the headers back in March after driving the car for three months and there was no perceptible difference in noise.
An AEM cold air intake adds a bit of "whooshing" sound at low to mid RPMS, and then screams like a tazmanian devil when at the VTEC engagement point around 5K RPMS.
The Comptech Exhaust has a nice burble at low RPMs...not anything like a too-big fart pipe on the riced out hondas you referred to.
There's a Sacramento CL/TL meet on August 18th if you're interested. See my sig below of check out the thread here.

Paul, Come to the next Sacto. meet like Mike said earlier. 4 of us at the last meet had them, and you can hear for yourself that there is no difference. Just lots more punch after 4500 RPM's or so. See ya there.

intake and headers sound VERY deep, almost such as a mustang gt, gs430, etc. sounds beautiful at idle in the garage 
sounds even better at WOT! 
(no rice at ALL...and i doubt the comptech exhausts are ricey either...heard they sound really deep)
