I am considering shaving my door handles. Is it a hard thing to do? How much does it cost? any problems i might have? thanks in advance.

Don't forget to run some wires off of your battery for jumping just in case.

My friend had his Ford Ranger shaved and after his first upgrade to his stereo had is battery die. Oops, hmmm hood release inside truck, power needed to open doors, no power available....hmmmm....SHEET!!!!

After that he cut a set of jumper cables and hardwired them to his battery and rigged them up underneath so he could pull them out to jump/power his truck.

It's where they actually shave the door handles off and then fill them in so they blend in with the side of the car. You the push a button on your keys to open a solenoid inside the car which pushes the door open, very cool effect and looks clean. You can also shave other things like: Winshield washer nozzles, gas tank, antenna and some bumper stuff.

i say u keep ur handles....trsut me its a bitch without it....n plus ur gonna b spending a grip on the alarm that makes the door pop out while u could b spendin taht on other mods...i duno how much mine cost cuz i got everythin done at once....

Now that's something I find useless.... I mean, I agree that it looks okay, but functionally, it is a nightmare...

yeah, i was thinking of doing this, along with the A symbol from the back ... but if you shave your door handles, there is no way in hell you'll be able to race your car at a track, they won't let you.
