was it the one with the the 19s on it . I know the 4.6 with 340hp and 19 inch rims should have handle that curve......maybe I wish he would have just gave it to me instead of wrecking it!!

 

Probably hold the curve better, but it's still a truck. No way is it going to out handle an S2000

x5's will give an s2000 a run for it's money if the S2000 driver cant run 14.7's most people who drive s2000 cant make the car run what they are supposed to. damn shame a $50,000 truck goes to shit and the driver doesnt even give a rat's ass

 

I hope you're being sarcastic, which I'm sure you are... cuz those X5 4.4's can barely pull low 15's in the 1/4 mile... now, the X5 4.6is is a different story, that thing beats the ML 55 in the 1/4 mile and that runs like a 14.6.

I always thought they were on 19"s, and also, those things can turn nicely too... not TOOO much bodyroll (considering...)

THe ml-55 doesnt run 14.6, most run higher 14's if they break into it. The new 4.6is runs close to 14.7, very impressive for an suv. Thats street trim, just go to the track and floor it, very nice!

Thats what i thought. I saw a 4.6 driving around one day. Pretty quick gets to 60 in about 6.5 seconds. Other than speed did ya feel a difference between the two? (4.4/4.6)

 

An X5 4.6 will almost surely BEAT an Auto CLS, but not RAPE it... They run 14.6 at best. We have one person here who ran a 14.6 stock in his auto CLS. Many run 14.8. Pretty far from RAPING it

 

I don't think so. If anything it would be a good race. The 4.6 is rated at 0-60 6.5 seconds. Basically the same as the CL-S. However this is all mag racing until someone faces one stock/stock.
