I'd believe it. I had the last gen. prelude beat me at the track in times. He pulled off a 13.99x and best I could get was 14.43x.
The guy was also like 3 feet tall, don't know if that has much to do with the weight

Cost Drivers!!!!
makes sense actually the power to weight ratio combined with the fact that the 'lude has a manual makes the 'lude win the first two times without a problem. In the second one you saw the CL-S hang a little better because both cars were in motion. Either way nice car!

He had to have been spraying.. I raced a friend of mine in my Stock CL-S who had a 2000 prelude with headers, intake, and exhaust and it wasn't even that close. I was ahead by 30mph.

Wow... i'm very impressed.
Is the driver of the CL-S on this forum?
I guess those are the differences b/w manual and automatic. my friend has a 2000 prelude auto with DC headers, AEM CAI, and tanabe exhaust... and he has never beaten me before... from a standing start or freeway. And i have a (engine) stock CL-P too! He kicks my ass on turns though.

The prelude that Damaged(M3Sins) raced was a 2nd gen vtec. It had I/H/E pulleys.
