What do you guys think?

if it was me, i'd go for the bike. driving a car could get boring.. then you'd have a bike to hop in and ride around. and the mods you planning on doing, i don't think is a major change, except for the xs headers. i don't see why you can't wait to do those when this bike might be a once in a lifetime thing.

Since the Katana is a Suzuki I'll sell you my bike for $8500... Priced to go!
I don't want to get rid of it, but financial issues until the government gives me my $13,000 back... I also want a bigger bike now that I am used to this one!
2006 Suzuki GSX-R750
First maintenance done and I have 3 more pre-paid services at the dealership, not sure how the transfer works on them. I have the cover that goes where the rear seat is and the stupid factory mud guard that goes where the plate is too. 1500 miles of casual driving and occasionally a few runs over 150, but not beaten. I only read lined it once in second gear and that was at 115 mph... truly a fast bike for a 750.

DEFINITELY the Bike.
You've never had one, and everyone needs to experience this.
The bike will do much more to scratch your itch than a souped up FWD tuna boat!
Plus, summer's coming!
Ride now, sell the bike in the fall, use the money for mods then.

This sounds too much like a bike talk thread now... and bike talk threads belong in Cartalk:
