Dude, no offense but how Fuckin stupid are you ?? Maybe some of the Bay area guys heard the story of a World Champion Karate instructor who got killed a few weeks ago in San Fran when he chased down a guy who bumped into his car and took off. The bad guy shot him in the face. What good is a bat in the trunk if he's got a gun at your window. It's so easy to be tough on the internet

let the cops deal with the thugs out there. most of us have things to look forward to in our lives. no reason to waste it on some idiot who blew a fuse.

You did the right thing Ronnie. It's easy to SAY what you would do in that situation, but completely different when it's actually happening.
A guy I worked w/got into a fight w/another guy who was on pcp. My friend beat the crap out of the guy but the other guy kept getting up because he felt no pain. The druggy eventually ended beating up on my friend so in the end it wasn't worth it. The druggy ended up in the hospital and was arrested.

Yea, well...what happened, happened. I'm just glad they got the guy. My window is fixed and it's back to work as usual today. Thanks for everyone's support.

Glad to hear that everything ened up working in your favor. At least it was just the window and the guy didn't take a bat to your car or you, that could have been a lot worse.

Glad the law came through for you; all to often cops up here wouldn't care too much about it if you weren't hurt. There's really no option for you but to sit tight. If you had started fighting back, your case would be a lot harder to defend, plus, guy was probably high or something, scary sh1t indeed. The other option would be if you had a buddy at DMV or on the force and run the plate for you on the side. Find out where he lives, and then ambush him. Easier said than done though.

You all need to calm down, I am just saying that he should have gotten out of the car to confront the guy at least so the guy wouldnt break his window. And i am not talking shit behind a computer, because numerous times someone has gotten out of their car and i jumped out too. We argued, but rationality got the better of us. And you know what, a bat is better than nothing. You never know when you will need protection. He did the right thing by not fighting the guy, but i still think he should have gotten out and calmed the guy down. You guys jumped down my throat but you forgot about the guy that called him a pussy in one of the posts. And for all your info, where i grew up i had to fight all the time, i grew numb to it. I am not afraid of confrontation, but i will confront you if you are trying to damage my hard earned investment or threaten me or anyone with me. I dont back down, big or small. But to each his own. Like i said, if he wouldve gotten out of the car the guy may have stopped or may have proceeded to kick his ass. I dont have beef with any of you, no need to jump down my throat for something thats none of our business. But you are entitled to your opinion, we all live our lives differently. Peace.

You did the right thing. Don't back off on this guy. I'm thinking a pickup in your stable and him walking might give him a chance to think about his temper. Yell and screaming is one thing but property damage is over the line. They seam to realy be tring to do somthing about road rage so the court will probubly be very sympithetic to you! Get his house too.

Right on Ronnie, you did the right thing! The cops did their work and the loser in in jail.
I still remember the sad story of the World Champion Karate instructor who got shot in SF while chasing after some guy who ran into his parked Jeep.
Just let the cops do their job and the offender's actions will speak for themselves.

I guess you did the right thing. Stay in the car and don't come out and try to work things out, he is obviously a pyscho or an extremely bad-tempered man. Who knows what he would do. If you have bunch of guys on your car, then worth a try to kick his ass.
