Power Window Switch

The driver side power window switch for the passenger side window on my wife's '97 3.0 CL is not working properly. It will lower but not raise the passenger side window. Fortunately, the passenger side switch works for both up and down.

Is the fix as simple as replacing the switch? If so, is this something I can do myself or is this better left to a dealer?

Thanks in advance - Joel

P.S. The lock switch is not on.

Dealt with this B4... you'll have to disassemble the door to get to the window switch. Then you'll have to disassemble the window switch to get to the actual electrical copper contact points that are right below the window switch. Over time, these contact points become dirty and can cause erratic switch operation. Clean up the contacts, reassemble, and try them out again. (Also, even if the lock switch is on, the driver window switch should still work).
