power steering noise when cold

it's been well below freezing in Canada, like -8 to -12. in the morning the power sttering whines and the fluid look like its jell. power steering works just fine but its noisy untill its warm. is it doing damage? is it time for a flush?

thats not good. the fluid should be..well fluid. I would see what the new power steering's temp ratings are and maybe flush it or see if synthetic fluid exists and if it is compatable with honda.

are u sure its not frm ur belts.
maybe just some lillle rust/moisture on the pulleys.
use some anti squeak spray maybe................

or
maybe ur power steering pump bearing was already bad and its just showing it ugly behind now that its cold.
Becos I believe the PSF should be able to handle that low temp.

I agree with krazykrnboi too. I did the same becos i messed up the PSP bearing when I took off so fast of the line, ripped part of my PS belt hence damaging the bearing.
so I had to replace the whole PSP and belt...........
