Comptech exhaust? There is no dyno on there site. I am wondering if they are not telling us something for a reason. I have heard this happening with other mufflers.

Well, since you get 4 runs for $75

Get your wrench, go dyno 2X with them and 2X without them then come back

Besides, you got the bent one

A lack of backpressure has been associated with losing LOW END power. I've seen cars in the past with 3" custom exhaust systems that have lost some power off the line, but gained in the upper rpm range, all due to the larger-than-stock exhaust.

The only real danger that can result from a "low" backpressure exhaust is the possibility of burning your valves.

A less serious problem can also be increased exhaust emissions.

Ahh yes, I had that fixed. Apparently the mufflers were offset as far as them connecting to the bolts of the pipe going back to the cat. Looks perfect now.

I wonder what mrs. webtoker thinks about you knowing that his right one hangs lower than his left one...

It um, uhh.. took your question a step further in showing that not even a full catback exhaust added much hp. Thanks for the sarcasm, though... it was much appreciated.
