Is it possible to wax too much???

I was just wondering if it is possible to wax your car too much...say like once a week...or is waxing your car one of those things in which too much is never enough...thanksss

you can never have to much, of a good thing. i say it that way b/c a cheap wax that will yellow over time or does not realy cover up swirls is only going to induce more swirls b/c of the extra contact on the paint, or a wax tat is to hard to remove will just add more swirls

i think my last girlfriend waxed too much.

but i know another girl with a mustache...she can never get enough wax!

as for the car, i think there's a limit where the payoff is not worth the effort (law of diminishing returns?). i mean, if that's not the case, then why buff the wax off at all? wax on without waxing off! how much thicker can you get?!

but for zainoing...i don't think it's been proven either way yet. i think this stuff chemically "bonds" to itself better than wax bonds to another layer of wax.

My favorite polish is using ZAINO..that product is amazing, I have about 7 coats of it and my car still has the showroom shine to it.

I don't know about "wax" but Sal says you can't over Zaino. You'll never do harm to your car by frequently putting Zaino on, but it does get to the point where you're pretty much just wasting time and money if you do it too much. I wax about once every 2 months but then my car is garaged and it doesn't rain here much.

Zaino still kicks ass though. Last time I used it was 2 weeks ago. Im tired of putting multiple coats already.
