Is it possible????

I wanted to know if it was possilble to get a TLS bodykit to fit the CLS without gettin it molded.I think it can be done some how with some cutting here and there I'm sure you can get it to stay on the car and look decent. The front the rear bumper should be easier to fit on IMO,keeping the sideskirts on will be the hardest I think, let me know what you guys think?????You guys might think I'm dumb for thinkin of doin this but I truly think it is possible.Just give me your

I'm going to get a TLS front bumper and try that out first

Actually, side skirts will probably be the easiest. Front lip still has to be modified, but not as much as the back. I don't think they have to be molded like you said, but they still need modification.

Are you getting the whole front bumper from the TL or just the lip?

Sorry for the quick What is the exact difference in size and fitment for the TL front lip on the CL front bumper, is it that it the TL lip is too short/Long? I’m looking into this myself but don’t want to go crazy with the body shop, want to help with most of the work.

I do not have the exact measurements off hand... but the TL is slightly longer and wider then the CL..... and that's the reason that the people who have done this have had to cut the pieces to make them shorter before molding them to the CL.

TL is a wider body, so the pieces need to have a section cut out of them to fit the CL body.

I think someone fit the TL sidskirts right over the stock CL skirts without any modification, but don't quote me on that.

Now that I think about it... you may be right on the sideskirts.. but for some reason I'm remembering an old topic about a guy who tried this.. and it was off by a few inches. If I have time this afternoon I'll do some digging.....

Thanks for the help fellas, I did not want to get into a kit, but getting a really good deal on the front lip and want to start with that. I hope just the front lip on the CL for now does not look bad or

there is someone HERE that put a whole TL front bumper and kit on a white CL...and it came out beautiful! the TL road lamps are different and the front lip was perfect!

from what everyone says in this thread, about the measurements being inches off, i dont want to go through that headache.
