i wanna get an aem intake for my 01 cl-s...its silver...but im not sure wat color to choose .....any recommendations????...or if u have any pics of ur intake and how it looks...........k thanks in advance

 

Depends on what you want. If you're going to under the hood, then go with the polished look. If not, just go w/ the silver, it's subtle looking like the color of your car.

Like dark colored paint, polished will only look good when it's clean. I had a polished Injen intake and it was a pain to keep it shiny since everytime it rains you end up having lots of water marks on the pipe.

I redid mine and just made it flat black. No worries or heachaches.





EDIT: Oh....that means my vote goes to silver.

 

If you paint your intake white or blue, it will increase aiflow by 0.182%, something to do with the lighter colors affecting air temp.

But, you still should paint it pink.
