see if this site works for you, i'm having problems getting to it for some reason http://wizardsworks.org/chod/acura/cai/ I just installed mine a few weeks ago, so if you need any help PM me and I can try and walk you through it. I might be able to dig up the factory instuctions but I didn't find them helpful at all.

Did you get an AEM? What isn't lining up? What's the problem? Should be straight forward.

okay.....the spot where the bolt is supposed to be bolted down into the car isnt lining up therefore causing the intake to go on the top of the engine on an angle.....and the bottom hose that is connected to the intercooler line doesnt match up with the input on the intake.....i just went out and bought and extra hose to try and extend it to under the intake where the plug is

Are you sure the pipe isn't stuck on anything, thus preventing it from lining up?

As for the hose, are you saying that the hose size is not correct, and doesn't stay on the nipple facing downward on the pipe?

Still a little vague. You really shouldn't need any extra hoses, other than the two that come with the CAI kit.

sorry guy no pics, but yea i bought the thing at the acura dealer used from a service guy i only got the tube itself ...... it didnt come with hoses thats my problem i guess. And yes the nipple at the bottom of the intake im having trouble figuring out how it attaches to the stock hose, as best as i can describe it the one hose that needs to connect to the bottom nipple on the intake, stock is a hard hose that can not be adjusted that runs under part of the engine cover....do i remove that and put in a diff hose im guessing a hose that didnt come with it that i need to buy? and as far as the lining up it isnt caught on anything i was thinkin about heatin it with a torch and bending it a little. If i were to bolt it on liek i should the top of the intake wont fit right on the engine, it is slanted, go figure

When I had my AEM installed, it didn't come with any hoses either. The Mechanics had to buy another hose that runs from the front part of the engine. Don't know itf that helps or not but...

Is this for a CL-S or a CL-P, cause I know there are fittament issues with the CL-P intake cause it was originally designed for the accord.

Okay. The two metal tubes welded together, one of them will be left alone. The other one, you have to bypass with one of the two hoses supplied by AEM. But since you don't have the hoses, I suggest you go to Home Depot with your intake, and find a hose that fits the nozzle. I wish I had the instructions with me so I can tell you the appropriate hose size, but it's at my friend's house. Perhaps someone else has the booklet and can look it up for you.

Now, since we still need one of the metal tubes, it's a pain in the ass to keep it in the engine bay. It rubbed against the sleeve on my car, so I got another hose and completely bypassed the metal tubes and ditched them.

As for the pipe itself not fitting right -- are you trying with the filter on the pipe? If so, it could be a fitment issue, depending on your year. See, AEM designed the CAI on CL-S without foglights. On my TL-S, the foglight harness got in the way of the filter, and I was forced to cut the pipe by about 6 inches on the bottom where the filter goes.

Just a thought. Lining up the pipe by itself really shouldn't be that hard. If you can't seem to get it right, then I think you may have the wrong part. Is there any way you could take picture of the pipe and post? We could probably tell you whether or not it's the correct one.

Good luck.
