Hi,
I'm new to this board. I am looking into purchasing a 2003 CL type S 6spd from the nearby Acura dealer. He is asking 18,000.00 for a 2003 with 38,000 miles and it appears to be in good shape. I bought a 1990 Legend coupe for my mother and she has had fairly good luck with the vehicle. My question is, What should I be looking for on this car? Are there particular trouble areas? Are there certain ride or handling indicators that would indicate well known problem areas? Is this a reasonable price? Edmunds says the price is OK, but if anyone has more real world experience, please let me know. I guess I'm just asking for a heads up regarding the vehicle.

The 6 speed is a pretty solid car. And you should be able to get a descent one on that budget. Does this one have Navi and the extended warranty?

The biggest issue is probably going to be how quickly you warp your rotors. The brakes on the CL suck.

get them to hand over the keys out the door at that price and you're golden. sounds like a very good deal and would jump on it as soon as i could. DO IT!
