Played in the twisties!!

Met up with Type S Smokes All this evening and we played on some twisty roads this afternoon. Also got in a few races. I have headers and he has headers and intake so he was able to pull on me slightly and consistently. The extra 5-10hp is evident from the AEM CAI and the sound is AWESOME!!

While the videos are in production, here's some pics. This is Gates Pass Road. It's A LOT more curvy than it looks from the air!!

Both our cars:

My car:

Nick's intake. In case you haven't seen a blue one. I love this color, but it doesn't really go with the gold

maybe i did win the the striaghts, but i had absolutly no chance in the turns. The springs and sway bars he had destroyed me in the truns. It was fun as hell, we drove nice and fast, vid will be up tomm in the garage/ misal.

So even tho you have sways also you could not keep up? I guess the springs and lower center are tuff to beat. Better tires would help.

The springs definitely do help, but part of the reason I was pulling him so much in the twisties was because I was familiar with these roads and this was his first time on them. These road are filled with blind curves, apexes in the middle of a curve, dips and everything esle you can think of. You have to be really careful or you'll go flying off the road into the cacti

Hey GoldTypeS were those pics taken in the Valley or Tucson? Don't remember those mountain ranges, so must be in Tuscon. The road to Bartlett Lake in Carefree is fun experience for you, your PDG CL, and the VSA!!!! Watch out for havalinas!!

This was in Tucson.... just west of the Tucson Mountains on Gates Pass and Sandario roads.

I'll have to check out that road in Phoenix.

How would you rate the ride difference between just the sways vs having both (sways & springs)??

No Navi cause no matter where I go, there I am
