It's not too exciting, but I figured it was worth mentioning since it's a new car. I was waiting to turn right on to a main road when I see a new Mercury Marauder drive by. I pulled out and decided to catch him to see if he was up for some fun. We got stopped in a left turn lane, me behind him, and when it turned green I pulled around him on the right. He started accelerating, not real hard, but I knew he was up for it. So I gunned it and flew passed him, but for a second i didn't think he was gonna follow, so i dropped off a bit. Then I see him pulling up on me pretty quick, so I gun it again as he's passing me and catch back up with him right away. By then we were catching the traffic ahead, so we had to slow down. Like I said, it wasn't real exciting, but it's always fun when you find someone who's willing to play.

 

Good story, I have yet to race one of these yet. How did it look on the road?

From what I saw at some new mag article and some car test T.V. show they are not that all that.. They look intimidating but the performance is so so.. If I could remember mid 7's 0-60 and mid 15 at 1/4 mile..

 

Mantis is right, big and black. Pretty much like a regular Grand Marqui, with everything body colored, nicer wheels, and dual exhaust.
