Plastic melted onto muffler piping

So I am driving to work today and I see some big piece of plastic stuck on the car in front of me. It's just flapping in the air and I am thinking to myself, that is probably goign to fly and go under my car and get stuck. So I am right. It flew under and melted all over my muffler piping. Is there a way to get it off? It's actually melted and become hard. If not, I will probably be going back to stock. I'm just venting but the last few days I had a tire blow out, my headlights fogging, then someone stealing my emblems and now this. Any help is appreciated.

try heating it with a heat gun and use a putty knife to scrape it off. if that does not work try a propane torch but thats as your own risk, avoid the fuel lines and everyhting, and heat it up untill it start to melt and then wipe it off with a towel.

get some sand paper and sand it off.

you really do not want to breath in the fumes if you burn it off with propane or a heat gun..
