Pirelli PzeroNeros
i was looking on tirerack for all season tires. The Pzeronero M&S tires are rated real high, but i'm trying to figure out what they look like, cause the picture listed for them is the same as the regular Pzero nero.......any ideas from anyone?

just for your information, i just bought a set of P-Zero Asimmetrico's 215/50/ZR17 on my stock wheels and so far they are performing sweet.
I was going to go with P-Zero Nero's but i called up a few places and found out that not all tire sizes listed on Pirelli's website are currently being manufactured. The stock tire size for our car is one of them. They told me the P-Zero Nero 215/50/17 will be manufactured in Decemeber. So instead I went with the P-Zero Asimmetrico's and i wasn't disappointed. I just had them put on a week ago and was gonna wait one more week before i put up my review of the tires.
i know this doesn't answer your question but just thought i'd share this with you.

Where is my super sauce?
Scooter has the PZeroNero summer tire in 235/45-17 and has given a good review.
The M+S version (all-season) of the PZeroNero seems to just have come out in the 235/45-17 size. I don't think anyone here has mounted them yet.
These tires have great reviews (albeit, a limited for a limited number of miles) and great specs with nice firm sidewalls. I loved my P7s and other Pirellis in the 1980s. Maybe the ZeroNero will be my next tire?...
Pirelli's have the reputation of being a loud tire, hopefully the ZeroNeros don't get noisey over time.

I had the older Asymetricos and liked them a lot. I have run the Pzero Neros on my ride for about 5 months and around 7 thousand miles. I really like them, and the grip is better than my previous pair. Here is a pic of their 235/35/19 tire.

Smitty has the 225/40/18's and i think enjoys them a lot
Slimey's correct...i have the 235/45/17's and continue to love them...i noticed the prices have been dropping on TireRack, so they're a pretty good bargain IMO

I live in Cali. I am assuming I got the summer version. I'll have to check.
So far, after only three days, I took a turn at the usual speed and the Pirelli's handled way better than my almost bald Michellins.
I am sure the Pirellis are a big step above the Michellins.
I think the Pirellis are quieter also - even considering they are 18"s

Results of testing max-performance/high-performance testing in dry and wet conditions. Noise, hydroplaning, and price were also factored in. The top three picks had no poor or fair ratings in any category.
The Toyo T1-S and Goodyear Eagle F1 (similar tread patterns were their recommended choices. The Goodyear's had better braking performance. The Toyos had better handling characteristics. I belive the size tested was 215/45-17.
(#1) 19 Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 $135
(#2) 20 Toyo Proxes T1-S $190
(#3) 21 Continental ContiSportContact 2 $170
(#4) 22 Michelin Pilot Sport $180
(#5) 23 Dunlop SP Sport 9000 $140
(#6) 24 Pirelli PZero Nero $140
(#7) 25 Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position $180
(#8) 26 Hankook Ventus Sport K104 $115
(#9) 27 Yokohama AVS ES100 $120
(#10)28 BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW $145
(#11)29 Firestone Firehawk SZ50 EP $175
(#12)30 Kumho ECSTA Supra 712 $125
(#13)31 Sumitomo HTRZ II $120
Note: just changing the road surface and judging criteria would alter the order to some degree. I wouldn't rely on the prices shown above; look for yourself...
