Pirelli Pzero Nero in stock size?

Pirelli's web site shows this tire is made in a 215-50-17", but I cannot find it anywhere Bad info from Pirelli or too new for dealers to have yet? It has a higher load rating than stock and is "Y" rated. I really don't care about the "Y" speed rating, but I do want a replacement tire that has a load rating equal to or greater than the 93 of the stock tires. It seems a lot of the problems people have with pot holes is that they are using tires with a load rating below 93. Christ, the front end of this car is a pig with the amount of weight over the front wheels. What else is out there in the stock size with a 93 or better load rating?

Tirerack doesn't have your size nor does it have my 235/45/17's either...but VictoriaTire has em, AND my size has an even higher load rating than yer 215's...good news is you can still get the 235 series on stock rims, so i would consider that size if you want to stick with 17's

Discount Tire Centers has the 235's as well and for about the same price as Tirerack. I'm thinking about this deal. Dont know if I'l run into any problems with them mounting this size though.

When i purchased my tires back in august of 03, i wanted to get the nero's i spoke with a rep from pirelli and at that time they said that tire will be offered in the 215/50/17 size but was only to be going into productiong in december of 03.

My guess is they still haven't started production on them. I ended up purchasing a set of 215/50/Y17 Asimmetrico's and they are performing pretty good in my opinion.
