I just saw one for the first time today also, looked good. I would take one over an Explorer any day.

Watch what you say....have you looked inside and at the sticker?

The Pilot looks--very much--like a larger CRV. Also, when you look at it's twin, the MDX, the Pilot gives you a lot fewer amenities for not much less in price.

I've seen them at 2 Honda dealers in Northern VA. Both dealers are marking them up $3500 above sticker and not budging on price. The EX-L comes in at $35,000. That is no navigation, no sunroof (there are no Pilots being produced with sunroofs this year), and the environment is spartan--compared to the MDX.

For roughly $2,000 more, I'd go with the MDX. Not only do you get an SUV that looks like a luxury SUV, but you get the better warranty, and the better service experience.

There is a guy down the street from where I live with a black one and dark grey moldings on the side. He already has tints and LOUD-ASS sound system already. The way his looks, i would get one anyday over most of the mid size suv out there.

ive been seeing like 5-10 on the road a day for last few weeks.

craaaazy how fast that thing got popular. i dunno how Honda does it... cuz their not able to do that with Acura.

it looks real good in light colors, im not feeling it in dark colors.

i feel the opposite about the MDX.

Want to compare ? Just take a gooooooooooood look at our CLS and take a gooooooooood direct front look at the MDX and it look just like a CLS on big wheels and look at the dash, almost identical to the CLS, seats, steering wheel, speedo gauges, air vents, on and on and on.........Am I the only one that see's this ? Perhaps, that is why we will NEVER see a AWD CLS, cause it will HURT THE precious sales of the MDX and TL ! ! Think about it !

My local dealer has ~5 of them. They are willing to sell for MSRP, and will throw in a backup warning system. Get the LX (MSRP is 27,xxx), and they'll throw in leather too. A Pilot EX with leather is less than 31K, which seems like a deal to me. And I thought the interior was pretty nice as well. I also think the outside looks better than the MDX, but I guess I'm weird that way.
