I just ordered 5763 and 5776 Phantom..
182.99 and 169.99.
Lane automotive - 1-800-772-5266
I grabbed the last 5776 they had... and they only charge UPS shipping, no handling fees... total was 357.98

I tried summit racing and they were 27.65 more for the same thing + they charge 7.99 for Handling. So go figure...

Thanks Brad and Steve.

The lunar series gauges wont last as long as the regular ultra lite or comp series. especially if you turn the brightness level at the maximum. This info is from Autometers instructions.

You must mean the bulb won't last, right? I still haven't found where to tap the power to get the "dimmer" light, so mine are on all the time, all the way. The dimmer switch is right there, but there's a bunch of wires going to it. ?????

Interesting you ask as I was about to post on this matter.

They are evaluating the unit, received last week, and will have a price at the first of next week. At which point they will add a pre-order form on their website.

I'll update the thread when this is available.

Im still in just one question is the painted piece exact color as the ebony in our cars...Im a bit critical about this...or should I just get it unpainted????

I would rather they paint it for me but just dont know how close the color will be...when I was doing the face plate I found it hard to match the color....reason why Im asking???

Thanks

Yes, with one catch. '02 and later TL's have a cloth covered A-Pillar trim piece whereas this will be plastic.

So if I understand this correctly, we first say we are in for the dual pillar then say what we want to measure and thats what gets shipped or is it all the same guages for everyone and they measure different things?

I'm not to up and up on the guages thing...bare with me.

Boost (for blown vehicles), Oil Pressure, Oil Temperature, Transmission Oil Temperature, Voltage, Fuel Pressure, Exhaust Gas Temperature, etc. There are a miriad of parameters to measure, it just depends on the individuals needs.

Yes, they would be available in both parchment and ebony interior color matches.

Dude, its just the housing. no gauges. just a plastic molded piece to hold them. You put in whatever gauge you choose.

Ebony is the the listing for the gray color although it isn't accurate. The trim piece is grey but the interior is Ebony. So we have been calling it Ebony, even though the actually color of the piece is not, to match the factoy interior color definition.

Well I called today and tried to speak with Lyle, unfortunatly he is out of town for 2 weeks, vacation. Although I spoke with someone else who knew their shit. I asked them about a 3 or 4 gauge pillar pod. He said as long as I get at least 30 people for the 3 gauge. As for the 4 gauge, he said that they would not do it because the 4 gauge is too far out there. I have seen 4 gauge pods and as long as u cram the 1st lowest gauge as far down the pillar the 1st 3 are very visible, as for the 4th it should only be a gauge that doesn't require constant monitouring; i.e. nitrous pressure gauge.

So if others would want a 3 gauge the option is available, but be aware of what u would be getting urself into. A dual gauge pod give 100% visibility w/o having to turn ur head. A three gauge may require very little turning of the head but mostly u would need time to focus, because the 3rd gauge is closer to u.

Unfortunatly this is something that u can't get the best of both worlds. U would have to sacrifice visibility and comfort for aditional gauges.

Good luck on getting 30 people for a triple pod. We have about 5 so far who have commited to the dual. At this rate it doesn't look like we will make the 20 minimum number.

scalbert, maybe you should of made this an ebay auction. tell everyone here about it. once they bid on it, they are at least obligated by ebay to purchase. this would also ensure the 20 people. just a thought.

As far as I have been made aware, just five of us including myself. I faxed in my credit card information early last week.

I sent an email mid day yesterday asking for the status but haven't heard back yet. I'll send another message Monday and will follow up with a call on Tuesday. At that point we can make a determination based on the number of payments thus far.
