Picture of my Momo Shift..
Rondog: how did you get your shift to fit lower? Did you have to drill. I can still see the threads from the shift column and it is fuggly....
This is a Momo F16 shift with leather / chrome. I have never liked the OEM shift as it is square. This is oval in shape, the leather on the top is rough to the touch for better grip and it feels really good in the hand (no smart ass comments please).

I spent a whole day getting it to fit. I cracked the first plastic gamut that came with the shifter by over tightening, so when i made the second one from some house hold shit ( be creative) I left the top of the gamut open. so the stem would go as far up as possoble. I then used a little crazyglue to keep it from twisting.

Holy crap that's high! When you put mine to D1 or D2 you cannot see any of the metal rod anymore since it is basically at the very edge to the point that it ALMOST touches the panel. Too bad I cant take a pic to show you guys. I have the Momo Race Airleather one and it basically looks like a ball sticking out of the shifter gates without the pole.

I will mess with it when I have more time. Even as it is, I still like it better than stock. Once I drop it into gear, it is fine... but lowered, it will be truly a nice upgrade compared to stock.. This is an aesthestic (sp) upgrade but IMO, worth it. MOMO has a bunch of different styles. The one thing I that slightly annoys me is the chrome below the leather knob to the front. When I grab the shift, it is cold on the tip of my delicate fingers.. But I can live with that.
Scooter: good eyes. No, it is not gum. It is a round metal tab with a Saint Christopher on it.
Rondog: thanks. I could not figure out how to reduce the size. I must have been driving everyone up the wall with no pictures in the post....
