the tires ar 225/40/18

The place I ordered from was kinda shady, they had horrible communication, and screwed up my order! (they gave my kumho's and I ordered Toyo's!) I dont want to recommend this place because of my bad experience with them. I'm not going to return my tires because they are very comporable to the ones I originally ordered, they match the specs almost perfectly. BUT I am going to demand some money back because of the trouble.... so my deal may be better then what I posted...but the headache wasnt worth it!

Try Wheels Max, they have great prices. When I was shopping for wheels/tires, i didnt go with them because the place where I bought my set matched Wheel Max's price (and didnt charge me for shipping).

wheelmax does charge for shipping, that's why I didnt go through them...

synth19, Beautiful rims on the silver.........any balance problems?? Do you know the wheel weight? I haven't been able to get my 17" TR's perfect and the next rims I get will take weights on the outside if needed. Love the look of the 18" but want to keep the overall wheel diameter the same.

Gotta say ... your CL looks great! The wheels with the Comptech appear to make the car look very fast.

Thanks for putting the pics up.

Thanks for the props guys-

Here are answers to your questions:

Offset:
+48 NO RUBBING!!! I've tried very extreme turns to test it out! Now I need sways to decrease body roll.

Tire Size: 225/40/18

3 Car Garage:
when i get lazy when it snows I park in the far left garage to minimize shoveling

Wheels: ADR Enigmas

Balance Problems:
NOPE, the wheels were balanced when I got them, I expected to have some issues because I heard that wheel stores that mount and balance tires dont do a good job, but I dont have any issues.. If you still have problems, you should try one of those old school wheel balancing places.

Wheels Weight:
I believe they are 23lbs. Not the lightest, but better then stock!

Rev Angel, if you get a spoiler, some aftermarket company sells the same one for alot cheaper! And they color match the spoiler to your car! I forget what the company's name is, but do a search here or maybe someone can post it? But it's up to you, there may be a considerable price difference...

Sweet ride, synth! I know you already said that you get no tire rub and have really put this to the test, but have you mostly driven the car around by yourself or with passengers? If by yourself, do you think tire rub would be an issue with the added weight of, say, 3 passengers and some subwoofers and an amp in the trunk?

Hmm...good question, I've actually riden with 2 other passangers, and I didnt have any problems. Also, I rode with my old springs/tires in the back seat and truck...didnt have any issues with the added weight. Also, before I purchased these wheels/tires...the place where I bought them from assured me that I wouldnt have any issues, and so far...none!

Mike B from Comptech said the owner of their white CL-S featured on their website hasnt had any problems either. (The white CLS also uses the same tire/wheels combo). Dont know of the offset of the BBS's he has...
