Pics. of my new car.

Its an 03' CL-S 6 speeder and Silver.....I originally wanted the Anthracite or aegan Blue but I got a great deal on this one. The acura dealer gave me $22K for my car and gave me a week to take off all my mods. I drove the 6 speed for 30 minutes and I totally fell in love with the drive. It honestly felt faster than my car with headers and I felt totally in control of the car.

here are the things for sale from the 02' Cl-S

Comptech headers
Comptech Ice-box (don't know if it will fit the 03')
03' tails won't be needing those

Congrats. Lou!!!

I'd love to swipe your headers, but I already spent my b-day money on strut bars and sways.

how much for the tail lights? What kind of deal did you get on the car, i too was also thinking of upgrading to the 6spd, but i owe 26k still on my car and i would be around 4k upside down, and that would suck.

Test drove the Z and I liked it but the seats didn't move me I tried the track the touring and still no convincing me. I was going to test drive the G35 but the price was killing me they wanted $35k. With the CL-S they gave me $22k more than all the rest and sold me the 03' for $26,600 out the door. Allthough I didn't like the color at first the black color was killing me also with the constant cleaning and waxing. Im happy with the deal and I can always put the S/C and my brembos are itching to go on this bad boy>

Lou... Congrats! Looks like you got a great deal on the new CLS.

We definitely have to meet up one day.. Z vs. 6-speed CLS should be a good race.

I was wondering what you didn't like about the seats on the Z? I actually think they are equal to the CLS seats.

Cusdaddy that car has one of the most aggressive exhaust I've heard except for maybe a Cobra. I couldn't put my finger on it but the sales guy is my friend so he let me test drive a couple of them. I kept complaining about the seat because its just differnent than the CL-S the salesman asked me if I can give him a ride in my car so he can see what I was talking about and he agreed that the CL-S has a more luxurious feel but at the same time sporty. The Z rocks tho I loved the look and drive in the twisties and the brake are hella dope. They did want close to $35 K for the touring so I really did a second look at that price.

Lou: I agree. The CLS seats are definitely more lux and I do miss them at times. The Z seats give good support, but are not as comfortable.

The 6-speed CLS is a great choice. It actually was my second choice. Are you putting your rims on the new 6-speed? It should look great. (never a fan of 03 stock rims).

35k?? Ouch.. Yeah. A 6-speed CLS for 26k is a steal. Great choice. Congrats again!

The car is faster than the auto's because you don't loose as much HP through the tranny

I test drove a 2003 CL-S auto and sixspeed and they were like night and day. The auto felt like it had average power, nothing special. The six speed was a thrill to drive

Thanks Zeroday.....I like the Z and I see what your saying about it being a pure sports car. The Cl-S 6 speed doesn't even feel as sporty as the Z but its enough for me......another reason I went with Acura is the wheels and tires plus suspension and brembo brakes and strut bar....I already have the whole sport setup for the 6 speed. I love the rumble the car makes when pulling away it has a nice rumble.

WOW, I must have missed this post last night.

Congratulations on the 6-Speed Lou. I know you’re going to LOVE it !!!
It sure is a world of difference from the Slush-Box, isn’t it?
I am SOOOOOOOOO glad I made the swap myself.

I want to do the small lip spoiler nothing like the stock cause when I do my system the whole thing will be rattling like crazy. But for now I want to start with suspension which is the best for ride and flexibility. Tein or Seal
