minus the mud guards ,throw on a spoiler and some c-t mufflers
loose the badging and your car could double for mine.I almost forgot you would have to run a chevy truck down the passenger side.

Thanks guys. Glad to hear you like it. I did take the mud guards off before, but some of the paint has chipped off. I'll probably end up taking it off one day when I'm bored.

I just took the moonroof visor off. There were lots of scratches all around the moonroof where the visor was, but thanks to 3M Rubbing Compound, you can barely see them anymore. I'll probably use it on the mud guard areas. The mud guards actually do help keep the car cleaner, but I never liked the look.

Wheels are 18X8 Volk GT-C wrapped in 225-40 AVS ES100.

I thought about clearing but don't wanna take apart the housing. I love the look, but it just takes too much time

Hey, about your suspension, how is the ride? Is it pretty smooth like stock, or is it on the bouncy side? Thanks for the info!

APC Titanium bulbs in amber

painted mirrors like 02' and 03'

03' tails and some HKS Draggers properly placed...Comptech are too small for the oval cut-out.....and judging by ur pics you cant see the exhaust at all.

Nice wheels they blend perfectly with the car but I do agree either lose the muds or paint them white...also did you ever considered the 03' tails ???

I like your wip and I can tell you take care of it..

Suspension is very smooth...not bouncy at all. It is stiffer than stock but does wonders for handling and looks. I had the Konis set on stiffest, and they aren't bad at all. I just set them 3/4 turn softer now. It makes a world of difference on the rebound but doesn't affect cornering too much.

Lou: I thought about all the modes you mentioned. I had a CT exhaust but got rid of it. Now I'm looking for another one...maybe quad tips or even oval ones like your CLK?? Mud guards will definitely come off next time I tinker with the car. I've always hated the size of the side mirrors on the 01 and wanted to get the 02-03 mirrors, but they're just too expensive.

Thanks for you comments everyone.

NICE, LOVE the brakes and wheels. seems like everyone is throwing a wishlist at ya. the tint is perfect.....
if u want clear headlights, and are gonna take your car to a shop, see if they could paint the housing white as well! that would look sweet as fuck. anyone seen something like this or have pics?

Your ride looks awesome. Keep up the great work.

BTW did you own a 2.3 or 3.0 CL before this one?

Just changed the rotors and brake pads....not a big brake kit.

I owned a 3.0 before this.
