Shit man, those are chrome plated OEM wheels !?!?!?!?!?!?? You know, in my mind that looked pretty stupid, bt they actually look really nice. Who did that and for how much? If they aren't OEM, what kind of wheels are they?

Good question . Not only are the guages black, but the redline is at 6300rpm. The Type-S redlines at 6900rpm. So that would make your car a CL-P, right? That's still a nice pic, but I hope you did not take that yourself. If you did, I'm glad you are still alive .

Anthony, you should tell him that it's okay to have black gauges

But really I'd take those rims over my OEMs anyday, but I would never pay to chrome the OEM (my dealer has some models offered would the chromes, mostly Tls) because unless you drive like Anthony (very fast when straight, and very slow through drive-thrus) I don't think it'd take longer to remove your triple dip.

You planning on going to the pavillions again? I still want to see Aaron's car.

actually you can right where 81 ends and 66 begins. 2 mile downhill. I hit 147 2nd day I got my car. You can see the entire bottom of the hill so no cops then after the that it goes up hill so you can slow down again.

EVeryone stop picking on me

HAHAHAH, Dad wouldn't let me get an S he thought it was too fast, like it was a lot faster. Oh well.

Yesh the CLP rims look like shit, they are form a fucking toyota camry, so I was going to buy 18" Niches and the dealer had 17s Chrome CLS rims so I said sweet put those on. They look nice IMO.

I took that pic myself, I would never go that fast with someone else in my car.

The redline for the CL-P is 6500 and CL-s is 6900
But for some reason and i'm not BSing mine goes to 6800 rpms and I can do 67mph in 2nd. I will have someone down here sit in my car if you dont' believe me to back me up on that, but it is strange.

Yeah let us konw when you wanna meet again, we will plan something fo sho. Anthony

Well I was gonna do that but i'm just gonna put 18s or 19s in about another 6k miles.

My order of mods to my car. Coming up
1.) Intake w/Bypass Valve
2.) GPS/TV
3.) 18s or 19s

I think that's gonna be it for the duration of this car.
Got to work on saving for the next car, I got to pay for it myself AHHHHHHH.

pga good job taking that pic at that speed...

congrats you come in 2nd place.

I'l have to remind everyone that my TORONTO buddy Rob (astroboy) hit 240km (top speed) and took a pic.

Although, if thats the top speed for the CL-P then I guess technilcally your both in first place...

Someone post Robs pic of top speed, thats just crazyyy to look at.

i believe you cuz my cl-p goes up to almost 70 in 2nd gear too and the manual says only up to 60mph. but once over 60, doesn't seem like there's much if any acceleration at that point. everytime i do it, i anxiously wait for it to hit the rev limiter once i go over red line..... yet i've only hit the rev limiter once in 2nd gear cuz i thought i was in auto (D5)!!!

No the CLP and the CLS both go to 148mph, 240km isn't top speed cuase 240 KM is only 144mph. I took a pic doing 146mph like I said, but I was switching lanes and the pic was super blurry and I only caught the top of the speedometer. I was so pissed about that.

I'll get another one soon, at 148.

I was wondering. . . When the CL's first came out I thought they said the CLS rims wouldn't work on the CLP because of suspension components that may rub. Have you had any problems? Doesn't look like it. . . Nice color by the way. . .

according to acura, the redline for the cl-p is supposed to be 6300 with fuel cutoff at 6600. for the cl-s, the redline is supposed to be 6900 with fuel cutoff at 7000 (which makes it really easy to nail the rev limiter in ss mode, btw).

you tachometer may be off a little bit (although if you're able to hit 67mph in 2nd, maybe not) or your limiter may kick in a little later than acura intended. either way, it's no biggie, and your car clearly runs that much stronger because of it...

Yeah I think it runs stronger too. I have to match that up with another CL-P one day. yeah when I hit to third it is just climbing to 70 and when I hit to 4th it is I think like 105 or alittle higher.

As for rubbing no way it is fine, Im going to go to 19X8s soon that im worried about.
