I"ll try to take a few more pics soon.
I replaced the stock Blose with MB Quarts, Oh what a difference! The rears were a little too deep, the magnets were touching the trunk bars that go across the trunk. I placed some high density weather stripping between the speaker and the hole and it gave just the clearance that I needed.
Same token for the front speakers, they were too deep for the doors. I had to build the mount out a little, works fine can't even tell they are there. The tweets fit right in no modification required. There is plenty of room in the doors for crossovers.
I mounted the amp to the underside of the decklid using some aluminium brackets.
I am posting a couple more of the stereo as I write this. I will take some better pics today.

Nice... Those are comptech springs? Do you have stock shocks? Your car seems to sit a little lower and a little more even than mine.
I also like the red A in the front. I have been thinkng of doing that myself. What kind of paint did you use? Did you use the same paint to paint your calipers?
Thanks

The red on the Acura emblem is vinyl, its the material that stickers are made out of. Go to any local sign shop and they should be more than happy to sell you a small piece.
Comptech springs and stock shocks, It might be the angle of the picture that makes the stance look different.

Sweet car and audio setup! Would you mind giving me an idea of how and what configuration you used with your 5-ch Soundstream amp, speakers, stock deck and... and the electronic crossover????
Thanks a bunch.
Thanks a bunch.
Well I got the idea from Astroboy. I saw the how clean the Alpine G190 looked in his dash , I knew it was what I wanted to do.
I wanted to maintain the stock look, and the remote on the wheel, but I needed better sounding speakers and some low end.
I did this install in stages, and I am still working on the amp placement and the sub. I am going to go with a single ten dual voice coil after I sell the twin JL tens.
The front speaker output on the stock deck is
wired directly into the line level input on the Alpine sub proccessor.
The sub proccessor has three outputs (front rear and sub) These are routed down the center of the car on the passenger side, where they hook into the amp.
The remote and the power wires for the Alpine are tapped right into the wiring harness behind the head unit.
The remote to turn on the amp runs from the proccessor past the driver floorboard and down the driver side of the car till it reaches the amp.
The Power wire is run from the battery through the fire wall (existing Gromit) down the driver side to the amp.
The speaker wires run from the amp to rear speakers. For the front speakers I ran the speaker wire the same way I ran the RCA's to the amp(down the center of the car.
The crossovers are in the door panel, where they are wired to the 6 1/2 mid and the tweeter.
Anything to remove those Blose from my car.
I removed the Bose amp from the trunk, no need to carry around that piece of crap.
I think I will build a custom enclosure for a ten in the near future.
Thanks Astoboy.

I have posted more pics of the stereo setup for those that were interested. a pic of the new tweeters, the trunk, amp wiring.
To answer the caliper paint question. The calipers were removed before I painted them. I beleive it was from foliatech, but I don't have the can anymore so I may be wrong. The can of paint cost me 15 bucks. I think I got taken for a ride. I think it is possible to use automotive engine paint on the calipers and achieve the same effect. That only cost 4 bucks a can and you can get it at Pep Boys or a store like that.

Nice ride, I especially like the Bare Butt! I haven't gotten to my RockFord 200a4 to replace the stock amp. and 150a1 with MS310 for sub in the rear, but you are an inspiration to get on it. tks.
