Pics of Comptech Clutch & Flywheel

Comptech clutch and flywheel came in.

Pic of the kit (comes with ARP flywheel bolts!!):

Picture of the flywheel (different angle... shows how heavy the OEM one must be!!):

I probably won't install it for a while... need to sort out some other stuff... but will definately keep everybody posted on the install, performance etc.!!

If you still have your stock assembly, could you weigh the flywheel by itself please?

The comptech system uses the the stock pressure-plate... so pedal effort is the same. I think its the stock disc as well, as it doesn't appear to be a 3-puck or 4-puck disc (nor made of kevlar!).

It might help E.T., however I don't think the flywheel will register on a dyno (along with the pulleys)... unless its a dynojet!

Are you gonna do it? How much did you get the flywheel for ~$900 or did you get a deal?

Comptech doesn't go much below their $900'ish price! And you have to pay tax in CA

Off topic question for you Allmotor...Buddy of mine has a 93 prelude and just got an H22. What makes the whine on those cars? It sounds like a SC whistling up, but on a NA car? I really like that noise. Do you know what part makes it?

Not sure... I had a '98 prelude with the H22A Vtec and it didn't whine while being NA or turbo.

What kind of air-filter is he using?
