IVE HAVE ALWAYS WONDERED THIS:
Why do people buy a carbon fiber hood
YET
then, go and put huge and heavy subs in their car!

well some figure they added more weight to the car, so why not try to reduce weight in other places to even it out. 
I plan to add subs, but ill make it easy for them to be taken out if i track the car.

My guess, sub is takin' out for racing.

I'd love to put a system in my car to add some much needed bass but i don't want to add any extra weight. It sucks. And the basslink is really the only option but its kinda bleh.

Maybe they do it for a better weight ratio all around..
Or they like the way the CF hood looks and also like sound. I would add subs to my car for sound, and not do anything for performance since I need to stop getting into trouble.
