Uhhhmmmm....the 05+ Mustang is being built at the Auto-Alliance plant in Flat Rock, not Dearborn. Plus, Ford is putting major efforts into improving interior quality, ie. 04 F150.

First of all in the lead post, I asked for help posting the pic, and no help from the board, so theres your picture.
Second, the CL was built in Ohio in a NON UAW plant, by employees choice. I grew up in downriver Michigan which is 75% lower to middle class autoworkers. Unless you spend 40 years in that environment , you cannot comment on the general work ethic of people designing the cars from start to final assembly. My ex-wife was an engineer at Ford in building 5 on Rotunda, large platform cars.
The problem is just not in the way it was put together but a generaaly poor work ethic from the ground up.
Like I said, if you have not been in this environment for 40 years, YOu are jumping to conclusions........

IMO, unions had their place at one time but have now overdone their usefulness and act as a detriment.

I've thought the same for years.

i think that's one good looking mustang. both coupe and convertable. i hope the production model will be identical. i used to have one of these things, but it kept breaking consistently at least once a month. i had to replace a head gasket at 56000 mi. hopefully the quality will not be the same

Your help has arrived (see below)! FYI, to post a pic you need to have it hosted somewhere... then you just link to it and you're set.

I am very interested to know where U THOUGHT the Mustang was gonna be built?
The WIlly WOnka Choclate factory?
Franks' Ice Scultures and other goods?
In Poland?
Where? Honda and Toyota have PROVEN you can build quality and realiable cars in AMerica. It is the COMPANY that has the give a fock first. Then it goes down to the workers. It is not the other way around. Even Saturn has proven that.
