PIAA worth $ ?

Been looking at PIAA's here latley and I found from them something called "blue spark" rated at 7500K I think.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33710

I hope this link works. Are these actaully worth almost 100 bucks. Or just stick to the stocks. This is a daily driver and I dont feel like spend 300-400 dollars on HID's. What do you think of these?

You can use those for the hi beams and you will need the 9005.
They are worth what you pay for them. I would search the web, and see if you can find them cheaper. ebay is NOT a good place to buy PIAA's. There are always stores that are cheaper!!!

www.optauto.com

scooter knows the other place.

Don't forget about the time and labor for converting to the PIAA's.

Not worth the change.

Converting????? It takes 10 minutes to take out our stock highbeams to put in aftermarket hi beams!!!!!

If gdubb is talking about switching out his stock low beams (HID's), then I will not respond!!!

It really depends on what u are looking for.... If you want maximum brightness/ visibility.. u're better off staying away from those blue/purple/pink bulbs... Those PIAAs are slightly brighter than stock but also alot more expensive... that 55w=100w thing is pure BS... TRUST ME!! itz all from personal experience..

You must have a first gen. I assumed you had a second gen, whic has HID's. Sorry about that. You should try and pay around 50 - 80 for PIAA's. As far as that 55w = 120w, its not pure BS. I have a ton of pics with my highbeams on and you can see that they are BRIGHT!!! I think the 7000K will be too purple in color to give you good light.

www.piaa.com has all the latest bulbs and their wattage. Pick what you like and go from there!!!

Don't waste your money on anything from PIAA. there a fucken rip off. Go to procarparts.com and get you some optiblues for 12 bucks. In the end when do you really use your highs?

Read the WHOLE post bro, he has a FIRST GEN!!!
So he needs these for his LO BEAMS!!!!

I dont think PIAA's are a waste of money, they are made to
last and are of high quality.

But to each his own!!!

It's because of the after-market lights like PIAA that caused a lot of complaints from cosumers, the fed is seriously looking into regulating the HID lights, which is totally different from the look-alikes. These after-market lights produce a color and light that are very much annoying to the oncoming cars, myself included. These are not HID and they don't perform as the HID. They cause problems to other motorist The only difference is that these lights have different colors. I guess to some people it's cool. But to me it's a waste of money and detrimental to other motorists
