I want to get just plain 5W replacement bulbs for the road lamps. Ones that will just look better then the stock ones. No higher then the 5W. I get on PIAA's site and see the 168 types, will any of those do? Just in the 5W versions.

Pretty much any of the 168 wedge bulbs will fit.

I originally put 19171 5W's in my road lamps but I felt they looked too blue.

I replaced them with 19224 18W's, which are a close match to the HID's.

I had the PIAA 19171 and it was way blue. Pretty cool when looking out from behind the wheel because it seemed that the blue bounced of the HID and it was a real crystal color, but I don't want to piss off other drivers by having some obnoxious blue lite radiating off the front of my car. I now have the PolargM6 and it's a near match at nite. They're 18W, which kinda scares me 'cause I don't want to burn out the housing, but hey.....I'm a risk taker, and haven't heard too much about burning out the housing exept for a few cases here and there.

Dont worry about melting the housing. I have 15,000 miles on my car and have NEVER turned the lights off....EVER!!!!!
