phantom photo blocker groupbuy interest?
I checked the website for the phantom photo blocker, and it says that orders of 5 or more will be discounted 10%, so that should come out to about 27 dollars per can of this stuff. They state that each can is good for about 6 license plates, and considering you really only need it for the rear of your car, that's more than enough. If anybody is interested, post a reply. Also, I'm not sure how we would go about organizing the group buy and having them discount it for us. Any suggestions?

How does the Loover work?
As people may have seen, there are companies (for profit) that are selling products that claim to block photos of license plates. However, all tested were either illegally obstructing the plate from law enforcement by using something that looks like mirrored tint over plastic, or just plain covering the plate up. Some are selling clear plastic lenses that you can see from any angle but they claim that from above the camera can't see it. These sell for $30.00 to $50.00 U.S. and do not work; they still allow the photo radar camera to see the license plate. Another tested product is a spray supposedly containing a "space age polymer". It is actually a clear liquid that contains a large amount of alcohol. It feels and smells like hair spray and is clear in color. It has no effect on blocking a license plate from photo radar.
The License Plate Loover works. The Loover physically blocks the view so cameras CAN NOT see the plate from an elevated position. However, the police driving behind someone has an un-obstructed view from all sides of a vehicle. So people are not blocking their plate from law enforcement, in fact most people will not even notice it is on someone's car.

I have OnTrack photo blocker on the front and rear plates. Ive taken pics with my digital camera and it works. OnTrack is in Canada I can talk to the person who I bought it from and see if she has anymore. There only about $20 if I remember correctly. You can see it clearly from the rear until you start moving to the sides and from the top. http://www.ontrackcorp.com/ Its the Super Protector....

I had the OnTrack one too, I had it on for about a year but eventually got a ticket for it. "Illegal alteration of plate". The judge dismissed it but I still wouldn't put it on again.

Does the spray need to be re-applied? Think that you can use it with a clear license cover?
I might be very interested, especially after my mother got photo-radar, and a $125 ticket as a result-
