the black market is the best place to find cheap used parts FYI comptech is the best!!! I think someone has a used icebox for sale (intake) and exhaust

u will need to have custom pistons made to what u want.
but our vendors on here and the search button will point u in the right way.
best bang for the buck:
light weigh crank pulley (stock size or underdrive)
headers ( dont get anything with two flex pipes, more money fixing leaks and cracks than it worth)
intake (cai is the best)
exhaust
intake manifold spacer (i did a diy on it)
and u can do teh 09 tl sh awd intake manifold swap (diy on that too)
bored out TB.
cat delete.

Obviously you prefer that to a high flow cat. I'm curious what the pro's and con's of each are??

Btw sorry for the thread high jacking, if anyone has one simple answer they can PM me.

cat delete is cheaper and probably a little less restrictive then a high flow cat. but its smelly and illegal in most states if not everywhere.

its illegal everywhere, but u can always get away with it. u will loose some low end torque but it will shine up top.

no cat. love the top end power, dont need low end power bc in auto x ur usually in one gear and rpms are always high.

i get very little smell inside my car, only when im in traffic and havnt been moving for a while. other than that, its all good. but gets raspy for a sec or two at a certain rpm.
