Performance Mods, what else?
Performance Mods, what else?
Im not sure what else to do guys.... VSA Delete, Bored Throttle Body, Thermo Spacers, P&P Intake Manifold?
Im also wondering what the Mugen cooling mods are and what they are comprised of? it is just a thermostat that opens sooner than the stock one? i've heard that this can be bad for gas mileage as the car stays in closed loop because its not all the way warmed up?
Any input is appreciated, thanks.

Since your NA just stay away from the cooling mods.
Definitley go with the VSA delete, I like my thermo spacers definitly helps you maintain low end torque during warmer times. Not sure about the P&P IM, only did the top IM so far.

GC86: Hey man, have you seen or checked out the thread about the P2R Billet Intake Manifold Plenums?? I think Accord_V6 is on there as well & there's been quite a few interests about that mod. Hell, I'm interested but like I said on that mini-meet in Milpitas, my mods take a while to happen due to "other" things that take presedence for the time being...

^You actually remove the VSA module from the TB area. Then replace the intake tubing going from the TB to the airbox with something a bit longer, or purchase the 6MT icebox from Comptech. Some rewiring is also required so as not to throw a CEL. Not really worth it in my opinion, but for those looking to squeeze every oz of performance outta their J-series I guess it's worth it.
For anyone who knows, how is this different than just disabling the VSA via the switch?
edit: and it's only for autos as the 6MT has a ltd slip diff instead of the VSA.

if u delete teh VSA throttle body ur air is only traveling thru 1 throttle versus traveling thru two...thats the main diff...i personally would leave it on if u live in an area where it snows...ive gotten out of many snowy situations due to the VSA helps wit traction liek a mofo
