I spend 3 hours this weekend removing all the little dings on my car and today, I get a new one while dropping off my laundry. It's not that I can't fix it; it's just that it's frustrating that someone would be so careless. People are Assholes!

OK, so I noticed it when I parked back at work. A co-worker of mine just happened to pull up at the same time. I showed him the ding and he said "well, those parking spots are really small". WTF ... Like that excuses the ding ... that's the kind of attitude that makes people not care weather or not they ding someone else’s car. Even co-workers suck!

Alright, I just needed to vent a little. I'll spend 20 minutes tonight fixing the paint.

 

that sucks, but how exactly do you fix the paint? I have so many little marks on mine too.

 

just cuz the parking spots are small isnt an excuse to ding somebody elses car.

 

I bought a paint pen from e-bay. I just use scratch remover to clean the area, touch up the paint, let it dry, use scratch remover to smooth out the area (usually leaves the paint that in the grooves), and wax it really well. It works on door dings but rock chips still show because they are usually deeper then a slight scratch from a door. The anthracite color seems to hide the slight imperfection left by they touch-up paint.

BTW, I bought the paint pen off e-bay because you can't buy them in the US. The guy gets them from Canada. They work really well but I don't know that it's worth the extra effort. When I need some more paint, I'm just going to get it from my local Acura Dealer.
