I've had my front bumper repainted once, and replaced once. There was no strctural damage to the car, only minor dings to the front.

still drives the same.

I think it depends if there is structural damage to the car like frame damage, or if it's just more cosmetic damage

My car runs great. There was SLIGHT frame damage ($5500 repair bill).

Darrin, remember I told you at the track that I put my car into a ditch?

Well, the ditch was about 4 feet deep, with a huge metal sewer pipe sticking out. My front right wheel hit the pipe head-on (the tip of it), suspension bottomed out, and I shattered my bumper.

The suspesion did not need any work whatsoever. It absorbed the impact very well. I mean, I can't say for certain about your car, because I don't know what kind of damage it has sustained from which angle, but let me tell you that the sewer pipe I hit was brutal. It didn't give at all, sumbitch. And my car still drives straight and corners just fine.

Unless you somehow managed to get a strut assembly torn out during the accident, you should be fine.

my car drives the same. the ONLY noticable thing wrong is that the front bumper sags like 1/5" more than it should in the front. besides that everything is fine. car runs fine. no problems

I had an Accord that got hit in the front twice. Made sure that Honda repaired the car and it always ran like original.

01 Cl-S I had less extensive damage than this $3900 no airbags deployed. Still drivable, drives the same today as before the accident...Think i'm having an intermittent driver side headlight problem though. They also replaced the burned out driving lights.

btw...The day i turned my car in for service I got a rental and two hrs. later an old lady ran me off the rd. and damaged it!

Cosmetic damage is not a big deal.

A FWD with suspension and drivetrain damage, roll the dice.

If I had some serious front end damage I'd weigh my options.

i think it just all depends on if there is frame damage that is unfivable. If there is they will most likely total it, if there isn't frame damage they wont. I was hit in my 01 cl head on at 50 mph and it totaled cause of frame damage, but mine looked alot worse than yours. Just get a good shop too inspect the frame.

I hit a huge metal sign wth my drive side wheel, 6600 in damage. The noticeable problem besides a little cosmentic is that the car drifts to that one side a bit more. After a couple weeks I got used to it and it drives like normal to me, so I can't be sure if there really is a continued problem.
