Pedals

I'm looking for some new pedals since my stock ones dont grip for sh*t!!! I came across this simple set of Sparco's and was wondering if they would fit and look good. I searched on this topic before and all the pedals I found I didnt like, or were too expensive! Please, If anyone knows about pedals and fitment issues, let me know if its a No or a Go!!

Heres the link to the site I found them on :

http://sparcoracing.com/product.php?...&cat=15&page=1

Thanks!!~

Yeh, I saw the ones supercomputers makes. Personally I think they're overpriced, and arent even that nice IMO....I read a few bad reviews on them of how they wear quick and the alumminum is soft and cheap. I mean come on now, $150 for pedals!!!

Thats absurd : )

Most universal pedals out there should fit, right? I mean all you need to do is drill holes and screw them on to your pedals, so it shouldnt be a problem with these Sparcos...

__Anyone have something to add?

The ones from Supercomputers are custom made to fit Acura. IMO $149.00 for a $35,000 car isn't bad. Mine came today they are not soft/cheap at all. I haven't read any bad review at all ............ but then again I'm new and haven/y been through many threads. It's all a personal decision - ya buy what ya like

Maybe it's your shoes, driving position, legs, or something else? You can buy new rubber coverings from Acura. I find the stock pedals to grip just fine. I do some heavy ass driving too. I find anything aftermarket is for looks.

Pedals are a trial & error thing. You wont' know what they are like till you see & install them. The grips could be crap. I had a set on another car & my feet slid all over the place. They were Sparcos. They looked different then those though.

ROTFLMAO - Tell me about it - I've had the car 3 weeks - haven't made the first payment yet and I've already spent close to 1,000 on little mods.

But seriously bud the Supercomputer ones I think are great. They look sharp - easy to install - the metal seems tough (meaning I can't bend it easily in my hands) and they really seem to finish the car off nicely. IMO - you get what you pay for ......... buy $150.00 pedals or $59.00 pedals.........in the end it's your choice.

Yeah, and I made a promise to myself when I first got the car that I was going to do every mod the right way and not be cheap about anything. Nothing pisses me off more than people that are too cheap to mod their car the right way. For example, a local friend of mine didnt want to spend the $$ on a full exhaust so he went down to Newark and bought a muffler, cut his stock can off and welded the new one on.(btw it sounds like complete sh*t) If you want something for your car, save up for it and do it the right way!!!

_Thats just my opinion of course...some people like half assing their mods!!

Totally agree bud - do it right or don't do it at all .........
I can't go putting $3.00 parts on a $30,000 car..............just to save a few bucks.

at first i thought they were overpriced, but once i actually got them and put them on i thought they looked great; like the pedals the car should have come with.
and i've gotten compliments from many people, some of whom know nothing about cars at all

Thanks for the compliments guys if you want to see pics Ronjon just put a set on his new CLS. So you know my pedals are not cheap at all. Tooling was custom made for our cars and took over a year in development. Cut out ingraved and painted logos and acura letters. High end aluminium and good grip rubber inserts. Pedals have been on my car for over a year now and there has been no sign of wear and tear at all they look as new as day one and I live in NY a Snow and Salt area. Its a to each his own mod you either like them or not but I would say over 350 sold between the TL and CL 99-07 means a ton of people on this site like them. Good luck with your cars guys.

I have to admit those pedals do look good. But still I can't see spending that much $$ on pedals. That's just me though.

Dude, We bent over backwards to make the kit we currently sell and we're practically losing $ on a discontinued low volume production vehicle. Athere is no way we are making another one. Whats the matter with the first one we did? Its pretty simple and counters the soft high lines of the CL.

Your a dick...

you need a drill bit, or a self tapping screw to start the hole. The gas is plastic, should just go right in.

That train picture kills me.

Ross I do have to agree with you though, he is very brave for making a kit for a car that's not made any more. Ron, Versus, and ViS are the only kits I've seen unless you want something custom. I wonder how the other companies are doing in selling body kits.

word. ive posted about that many times. im just dissapointed in the product after all the hype it had. after all the wait it turned out to be a filled in versus lip, and some hi-jacked sides/rear.

But honestly, if I had the dough, I'd go for the TL oem body kit and custom fit it like brian has. I really like the way it looks on the CL.
