At 49,500 miles no less. They resurfaced them at 23,000 and then they warped again. They were very professional and continue to impress me each time I go in.

I just got my front ones replaced again at 49.5k as well.


Btw, it never fails - within 24 hours of getting rotors replaced I am put in a situation where I need to stomp on my brakes.


Some dumb bitch this morning slams on her brakes to stop for a light that had JUST turned yellow even though we both would have made it completely through the intersection before it went red.

Holy f*ck that will wake you up at 7am, let me tell you. And hopefully my proper application of the horn put a couple IQ points back into her empty cranium.

Then I backed up a few feet and turned into the lane next to her, and launched hard and blew by her stupid ass when the light turned green.

I notice that the rear rotors are grooved, is this normal? I did not notice any vibrations.. but braking power is getting very bad now!

How do you know if your rotors are warped? Does it vibrate funny when you brake?

When you come from freeway speeds and slow down, keep the brakes on constant to stop. If the brakes are warped, you will feel the brake pedal pulsate and/or steering wheel shake slightly.... Course it could be balance on the front wheels but with low mileage on our cars, it shouldn't be...

I'm going to have to check mine today. I'm at 16500 miles and do a lot of city driving.
